Tabaski 2024, Sheep donation ceremony from the Minister, Governor of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro to Muslim communities.


      This Thursday, June 13, 2024, took place at the Grand Mosque of Peace of Yamoussoukro and at Dougoutigui, a ceremony to hand over 60 rams to the Muslim community with the aim of wishing them a pleasant Tabaski celebration.

        This ceremony invited the 5th Vice-Governor of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, Mr. KOUASSI Koffi Wilfried Félix, representative of the Minister, Governor, Doctor AUGUSTIN THIAM, as well as several members of the District and the Muslim delegation.

    During the meeting at the large Peace Mosque of Yamoussoukro and at Dougoutigui, Mr. Ladji Sidibé, spokesperson for the Minister, Governor, before beginning the general prayer to entrust the meeting to God, indicated that the Minister Governor, had an impediment, which is why he sent the 5th Vice-Governor, Mr. Kouassi Koffi Wilfried Félix to represent him. 

Each year, during the different holidays, such as Ramadan, the Night of Destiny, Tabaski and Maouloud, the Minister, Governor Augustin THIAM makes donations to wish a Happy Holiday to the Muslim community. this year, the Minister made a donation of sixty (60) rams, including one (1) ram for the imam of the Great Mosque, Mr. Sylla and the fifty-nine (59) others for the Dougoutigui, the Imams of the villages of Lolobo, Seman, Attiégouakro, Kossou, and certain Families, then the District agents.  
  
   To close the ceremony, the Imam of the Great Mosque of Peace, Mr. Sylla and Dougoutigui made blessings for the President of the Republic and the Minister, Governor as well as the entire delegation of the District. They thanked them for everything they have done for the Muslim community for years.
