MORE THAN 20 MILLION FCFA OFFERED TO PEOPLE IN DIFFICULT SITUATIONS

Generosity is like a seed, by planting it, we see the fruits of empathy and solidarity bloom in our lives and those of others. It is in this context that the Minister, Governor AUGUSTHIN THIAM made, this Thursday, September 26, 2024, a donation with a total value of 21 million to twenty-two (22) people who requested financial assistance for the accomplishment of the social order project.This day marks the 4th edition of the provision of financial aid to people in difficult situations, initiated by the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro wanting to meet the needs of the population.
Rounding out the speeches, the Director of Human Promotion, Madam FOFANA, raised an important point: “creating a district where everyone can prosper in all respects” thus showing the Minister's determination to work towards a more fulfilled community.
The beneficiaries receiving the donations from the hands of the Minister, Governor let tears flow which created a sad atmosphere in the room.
In the line of speeches Mrs. Koffi Brou, representative of the recipients, flooded by her tears did not fail to show her gratitude to the Minister, Governor while thanking GOD for his generosity.
Speaking, the Minister underlined the fact that he gives instructions to the Council and it is this body which is responsible for implementing them. Thanks must therefore be addressed to the members of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro. He then affirmed that these donations are possible thanks to the operating budget allocated by the State of Côte d'Ivoire. Finally, he asked the beneficiaries to pray for him, for the President of the Republic his Excellency Alassane Ouattara as well as for Côte d'Ivoire
