MAMIE ADJOUA HIGH SCHOOL ORGANIZES THE ANNUAL LEADERSHIP CLUB CEREMONY

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the annual Leadership Club ceremony was held at Mamie Adjoua High School, under the patronage of the Minister and Governor, Dr. Augustin Thiam.
The aim of this event was to train and teach students the qualities necessary to become better leaders.
Administrative and educational authorities, parents, and students from the school participated in the event.
Before the start of the activities, Mr. Sow, the master of ceremonies, presented the day's program. Following this, the students of the Mamie Adjoua High School musical group performed the national anthem.
Next, Ms. Zakeï Bosson Florence, assistant principal, extended a warm welcome to the authorities and guests on behalf of the headmistress, Ms. Koné Mariam.
Speaking next, student Kouassi Andon Ange Marie, president of the Leadership Club, presented the club's objectives. She also spoke about the qualities of a good leader, citing the Minister-Governor as an example, whose career path, she said, "speaks louder than words."
During his address, the Minister-Governor emphasized the importance of women in society. He also explained that a leader is first and foremost someone capable of guiding and inspiring others. To this end, he urged the students to have confidence in themselves, to always be bold, to persevere in their studies in order to obtain their diplomas, and to see the sky as their only limit.
Following this address, the various competitions organized for the occasion took place, including a debate, general knowledge quizzes, and a slam poetry competition, pitting students from the second year of high school against those from the third year.
While awaiting the competition results, Ms. Boni Charlène, a behavioral coach, led a conference on female leadership. The ceremony continued with the official presentation of gifts from the Minister, Governor, to the top-performing students in the second year of secondary school and the second-performing students in the fourth year of secondary school.
To conclude the event, a group photo was taken in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
