CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION 2023 IN THE AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT OF YAMOUSSOUKRO

This Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the Alliance Française of Yamoussoukro took place the Children's Christmas Tree, organized by the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro.

The Minister Governor, Augustin THIAM, in his annual budget allocation, places particular emphasis on the education and development of children. This year, more than 600 children benefited from numerous gifts from him. Gifts estimated at 20 million CFA francs.

This day dedicated to little ones was marked by the presence of District agents, customary, administrative and religious authorities from the city of Yamoussoukro.

Ms. Fofana, Director of Human Promotion, of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, in her speech, thanked the Minister Governor and the organizing committee for the success of the 2023 Christmas Tree. She thus asked the little ones to be studious at school in order to benefit from gifts every year.

The distribution of gifts to the children took place with the arrival of Santa Claus. The ceremony ended with a lunch offered by Minister Governor Augustin THIAM.
