350 THIMO BENEFICIARIES RECEIVE THEIR CERTIFICATES

The ceremony for handing over certificates of participation and business plans to the 350 beneficiaries of the THIMO (High Labor Intensity Works) sub-project as part of PEJEDEC 3 was held on Thursday September 26, 2024. at the pay office of the Yamoussoukro Autonomous District.
Chaired by the Minister, Governor, Doctor Augustin THIAM, it saw the participation of members of the Autonomous District Office of Yamoussoukro, the prefectural body of Yamoussoukro and Attiégouakro, representatives of the Mayors of Yamoussoukro and Attiégouakro, administrative authorities , customary and religious.

The Coordinator of the project unit of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, Jean-Pierre ASSOUMOU expressed his total satisfaction with the holding of this ceremony because it reflects the good execution of the PEJEDEC 3 sub-projects (Youth Employment and Skills Development Project phase 3). He also expressed his gratitude to the Minister, Governor, partners, service providers as well as the Employment Program Coordination Office (BCP-Emploi), placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth Promotion, 'Professional Integration and Civic Service. To close his remarks, the Coordinator of the District project unit says he is optimistic, for the young people of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, because many projects are in the making. They will be the subject of communication as soon as they are in the maturation phase
Following these allegations, two beneficiaries gave their testimony according to which registration, medical examination, as well as vaccination were free. In addition, they benefited from free entrepreneurship training through which they received a business plan.
The representative of BCP-Emploi, Léopoldine AKA revealed that the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro received funding to the tune of one billion three hundred million (1,300,000,000) CFA francs to help 2,227 beneficiaries through THIMO, VSLAs (Village Savings and Credit Associations), Apprenticeship and Entrepreneurship.

Speaking, the Minister, Governor Doctor Augustin THIAM expressed his satisfaction and encouragement to all stakeholders involved in the implementation of phase 3 of PEJEDEC, in particular, to the Coordinator of the project unit of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, Jean-Pierre ASSOUMOU. To the beneficiaries, he promised to do everything possible to obtain funding to help them carry out their projects. In return, Doctor Augustin THIAM invites them to be registered for the next presidential elections in 2025.
Finally, He reassured them that the end of activity bonuses will be paid to them from Monday September 30, 2024.
