1,200 care vouchers and 300 school kits worth 70 million offered by the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro

This Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the delivery ceremony of 1,200 Support vouchers of 60 million and 300 School kits of 10 million was held at the Collège Moderne Notre-Dame des Lacs II in Yamoussoukro. After his intervention, the Minister Governor, Augustin THIAM officially presented the students with care vouchers and school kits. He asked each student to make good use of it and to be the best in their academic career in order to become executives of tomorrow. He also sent his congratulations and encouragement to the educational community of Yamoussoukro and particularly to the Regional Director of National Education and Literacy (DRENA) for the work that is carried out for students in often difficult conditions. . Thus, Mr. KOA N'gouandi Frédéric, Coordinating Secretary General of DRENA, representing Mr. DRENA, very moved by the beautiful words of the Minister-Governor, spoke to say thank you. He reminded the population present that in just three (03) months, the Minister Governor in his role, offered 1000 Table-Benchs, three school classes and an Office to the Kindergarten of the Attiégouakro school group. He rehabilitated the Augustin THIAM primary school, which bears his name, in the Energy district. Even today, there are 1,200 care vouchers and 300 school kits which are primarily intended for students whose parents are in difficult situations and also for the most deserving. He closed his remarks by asking God to bless Mr. Augustin THIAM and grant him a long life. The ceremony ended in conviviality with a cocktail offered by the Minister Governor.
